Another multi-agency pitch in June saw Allsopp Davies appointed by Breckland Council to launch their Local Development Framework initiative. The LDF will research and plan for the future needs of housing, business parks, conservation areas and employment infastructures throughout the Breckland region to the year 2021. Crucially, the LDF had to be presented to the public as an open and approachable information resource in order to stimulate positive feedback from the public on their opinions for future regional development and conservation.
Allsopp Davies created a simple brand identity for the LDF and set about producing a mobile exhibition unit that would tour the region inviting response from the public. An information pack and a carefully worded questionnaire were produced for handout, while stickers and recycled pen giveaways ensured something for the kids whilst their parents were canvassed.
In just the first 2 weeks of the campaign the mobile exhibition unit generated in excess on 1,000 completed questionnaires. The information and research campaign will continue for the future with direct mail also playing an important role.
